Green Smiley Monday

Better late than never.  After a weepy day yesterday, I had a good day today.  Lisa's friend drove down from Red Deer and we went for lunch.  We had a really nice visit with laughter and tears and great food.

Dear Marlene, so glad today was gentler. It is nice to have time with people who love your daughter and can share feelings and memories even if it brings tears. Love to you and beautiful Lisa, Linda

Golly Marlene, I don\'t know it it would have been better or worse if we were together on Weepy Sunday... I cried all day. I read a few hundred entries in the Compassionate Friends website from parents who\'d lost a child. Gorgeous love, infinite pain. Cried and cried. Blew my nose a hundred times. By Monday I was over that bit... still holding the beloved bunny in my heart but able to breathe and look around me and see the sky again. And today, the sun has come out. I have no idea how we keep going... we just do. It\'s not about strength or faith as much as some call to keep living... it comes from deep inside. I am glad you have friends with whom you can be yourself, you don\'t have to act happy.
Love and care,
Sarah

I am so glad that you had a better day. It has been 5 years for us but even sometimes on certain days the flood starts and there is no stopping it. Some people understand and others just give me a look. Hope you have some peace and kind days.
