green grateful smiley monday

Hi everyone, I just want to say that on this green smiley Monday I am so very grateful for so many things. There are no words to express what our founder and shepherdess has done for me. How do you thank someone for taking your hand and leading you out of the darkest place in your life and set you on a path towards hope? Thank you Barbara! I will be eternally grateful. Bless you and may you transition without pain or fear into the loving arms of God and Evan.

I am also grateful that my granddaughter and Iysabella are safe in my home. When Eddie was 13 he & I were forced out of our apartment by a fire. I had no where to go. My mother was married to her 2nd husband and they owned 2 homes. 1 in florida & 1 in Massachusetts but her husband said I couldn't move in & they didn't offer any help with money either. I was living paycheck to paycheck so unfortunately I didn't have any cash reserves. We ended up living with "friend" after "friend" who kept asking for more & more money to stay with them. Eventually I saved enough up & got an apartment. So I determined that no one I cared about would ever be left out in the cold. Not even Christina's boyfriend. He is welcome too. Thankfully I now own a condo & we are a little cramped but its ok.

I'm also thankful that Ken has calmed down about them living here. I said to him the other night, "why don't you just relax and enjoy having a baby in the house while we have her here?". Wow, I think he's finally got it! He loves babies & its all good now, lol! Men! Lol! (No offense to my guy friends at DS).

And last but not least I am grateful to be in the company of such wonderful people at DS and FMO. Your support makes all the difference.
Love ya!!!!
