Great Day... Summer Straw Hat

I woke up early but did not go back to sleep. Me and hubby had coffee out on the patio. It was very very cool outside. We loved it. I then got busy and went to get caulk and realized I already had some clear caulk. geeesh... but oh well. I can use it as an adhesive too. I got my dresser decluttered and will finish up the backsplash tomorrow. I hope. I need to get a few things wrapped up. 

I made a pile that goes to the resale shop / or GW. 

I really wished I could get my brother over here to redecorate for me. I think I have some cute things, I just don't know how to put them together like I wld like... He knows things like that better than me. I have some straw hats that I think wld really look cute w/the white flowers and picnic basket in the hallway.. . they are my grandpa's and dad's straw work hats. They are great. 

I love to wear straw hats myself. lol... I am still wanting to get a Merlin... but going to wait until maybe the winter when I can't get out much and I will need to entertain myself more inside... and also when some household projects are finished up...

I am enjoying my ukulele again out in the yard every evening. I'm doing more picking. I've always just used the chords but i'm getting braver and enjoying it for fun. 

My hubby cooked a quesh for breakfast and cooked porkchops out on the grill for supper. Super good cook. I loved it. I am out of the mood for cooking. I kinda get that way in the summer. 

welp... going to watch a movie on youtube and color. nite friends
