Gratitude
I made a deliberate choice to start documenting what I am grateful for. A conscious choice to be thankful, even in the midst of the struggles. I have to say it has brought me a little more peace and joy throughout the week. I have been trying to not focus on what I have lost or don't have. i think it is a good change in my attitude. I think looking at what I have lost or can't do steals my joy, makes me angry, and gets in my way of being closer to God. it gets in the way of God doing his good work in me. It gets in the way of me receiving his healing. He works all things together for a greater good. For so long I have been angry and can't see the good in this process. I still am in the midst of not truly knowing, however I am willing to go to him when I feel weak. He is the strength. I am going to believe for healing. I have faith that I can make it through this rocky journey. God wants us to be joyful. The enemy comes to steal and rob of us joy. God has given us a spirt of joy. Just being joyful, thankful, and more loving to myself and others is healing in itself. My stress is down. He loves us as we are. We just need to receive the gift.
