Grateful Grateful Grateful
I have a job. I have what health I have. I have a beautiful husband who irritates the hell out of me. I have my compadre, mi amigo, not so much my side kick, less and less and I'm gonna miss him. My daughters, their families. Grateful, Grateful, Grateful.
Mandatory OT was suppose to end next Friday, May 13. Yesterday they announce it is to be extended to August 21. It is what it is. Could opt out of OT in a heartbeat. Not going to get Dr. waiver. I only have 8 co-workers in my department and will keep on keeping on. I have my most favorite boss ever. We all have our crosses to bear. I am exhausted but others are as well, they have young families and tons of committments to work around.
I am getting so excited to see my daughter and her family on the 25th! I only see them once a year and if I talk too much about that I'll start crying, I miss them so. We will BBQ, hike, swim, shop, eat, drink and be merry. Husband and I have a hotel with a swimming pool so grandkids will want to live there, right in the pool, haha. 11, 9 and 5. My daughter told my youngest granddaughter that Grandma and Grandpa are coming and she raced upstairs and put on her swimming suit!
We will convoy from Ft. Leonard Wood to St. Louis early on May 30. I got us rooms at Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch for $54.00! We will party all day...the zoo, riverboat, arch, Anheiser Busch museum, etc. sleep, paty all the next day then my loved ones will go home and El Jefe and I will spend the night at the Four Seasons (free as it is an agent stay, one of the hotels I sell rich people) and fly out the next morning. None of us has been to St. Louis so we're all pretty excited for that overnight.
I miss my friends here. I basically sleep, eat/work and repeat. Always laundry, cat box, bathroom, groceries. I need the connection I get here and need to make a better effort to get on more often. No garden for me this year, not with this OT. Time is priceless.

You have some great times planned with your family!! That sounds so great!!! I see my 2 youngest every 3 or 4 mos. one lives abt 30 mins. away and his sister is 2 hrs away. my youngest son will probably move closer to his kids so won\'t be seeing him much if at all. He hints abt how his Philipino fiances family do so much together and how we don\'t . i have finally realized there is no pleasing my youngest son. So let him go.i gave him to God and have to do that over and over. He supports her family and just treat him like a king i suppose. I think one day he will realize they R not so wonderful after all. He needs to find happiness with in . No one can make him happy, he has to find his own. He has so many ups and downs he just wears me out emotionally so I have to give him to God so often. he wants to tell me all his problems but want me to not give him advice. i told him he has other people he can talk to it worries me too much. He is buying love from his fiance and his kids that r adults. i am to the point to where I want him to leave me out of that stuff. He is my youngest and I love my kids but have to shut up and say nothing. Well then don\'t tell me. take care and enjoy your Mothers day too!!!!! June.
All that OT sounds pretty scary hon. You make sure you pay attention to what you\'re body tells you & take steps back if need be or I\'ll worry abt you.
It sounds like you\'ve got some totally wonderful times coming up with your family & I love reading how excited you are.

I look forward to the report of the special little vacation. Too bad we have to wait for it. I figure the timing will be good though. You will need the break from work so you can come back at it with a fresh heart. You sound like you are holding up well. Keeping you in prayer.
your life sounds great. you must be a travel agent! what a great way to live! nice that your husband enjoys it as well, so many don\'t like travel, they SAY they will do all this stuff and then are shocked when its time to go. have a great time! xxoo
