GRADUATION

Well tonight is graduation and i am dreading it, on top of that it is my hubby's sis's wedding anniversary so we will have all 4 of her kids for the night(my sis will watch them while we go to grad), wasn't thinking when we agreed to it. I hope I can make it all the way through, they are not doing anything special for her but i still feel i need to be there. I really think i feel cheated, I am very angry, she should be there with her classmates, she worked so hard to get there, from 20-40 percent in all classes in 8th grade to 70-90 percent now(or then). I don't even know how to express how i am feeling it is one of those days where ther is a constant run of tears down my face like a faucit you can't turn off.  I am hoping we can pick her diploma up today so it will be on the same day, seems stupid but feels important. Her yearbook is in too and they put a memorial page in there too. IT IS NOT FAIR, I WANT TO WATCH HER GET THAT DIPLOMA HANDED TO HER, I WANT PICS OF HER AND HER FRIENDS IN THEIR CAP AND GOWNS, IT IS NOT FAIR!!!!

At our school if a child passes away their graduation year, during the graduation ceremony they do a little tribute to the child and have someone come up to the podium to collect the childs diploma. My thoughts are with you during this very emotional time for you. {{{{{Hugs}}}} Carolyn

I can only imagine how hard this is and is going to be... I just hope that as your heart aches and wishes your baby girl were walking across that stage you will know that her spirit is beside you now and always... You and your family both on earth and in heaven are in my prayers. Hugs Elissa

I know what this day means. I know the pain, the sadness of this day. I stood (in the audience) with the class of 2007...not Kala. I stood when Kala\'s name was called...not Kala. I transferred her tassle from the right to the left side of her cap...not Kala. I accepted her diploma...not Kala. It was a hard day. But it was a day I got through. I silently repeated \"pride and dignity\" the entire time. I stood, but yes, my Kala stood too. I know she was there. Several of her classmates wore her picture inside their caps, several carried her picture, others thought of her as they received their diplomas. The entire class clapped and whooped when Kala\'s name was called. It was hard, but I did it. I did it and so can you darling. You will stand, and Suzette will stand with you. You will stand with pride and dignity, and Suzette will be so proud of her mom. You can do this. I will be with you in my heart.
