Gotta start somewhere
OK, so we all have to start somewhere, right? So I did 55 minutes of Wii Walk It Out yesterday and drank plenty of water. 2 out of 3 isn't bad, right? Calories were very bad! I binged. Ugh! Was doing well until we sat down to watch tv last night and then just mindlessly ate. I was at 169 lbs today.
So far, my calories are good and I have to drink some more water. I did 45 minute Wii Zumba 2 class, medium intensity. It said I burned 533 calories! Boy, I felt it! Talk about kick my A$$! It wiped me out. I should have done the 30 minute class. I did not realize how out of shape I have been. But I did it and finished and that is what counts. I had oatmeal, coffee, an orange, a hot dog on multigrain slice of bread. Tonight I am making battered cod (baked in oven) and french fries baked in oven along with steamed broccoli, edamame, and carrots.
My Mom and I went to Omaha Steaks on Sunday and I stocked up on some "yummies." The frozen battered cod was one of the things and then they had this package deal with steaks, hot dogs, stuffed potatoes, hamburgers, etc that I got. The woman gave me a free chocolate cake. (It's in the freezer for when company comes over.)
I didn't get much done today. I have off tomorrow. My stepmom Shirley is up from Florida and I am going shopping with her and my stepsister Lori tomorrow up in Lancaster at the outlets. There is this wonderful set of shops called "Kitchen Kettle Village" where I go crazy. Amish stuff, quilts, jam/jelly store (all homemade!), Woolrich store, candle stores, Brighton store (my favorite jewelry), music box store, etc. So I will buy myself a few goodies for Paul to give me for my birthday next Wednesday.

I hereby give you an \"A\" for effort!!! Damn, girl!
WOW 45 mins. Zumba. Keep going... Great job.
Binge eating.. i hear that.. I did it yesterday too. Wonder if has to do with the bad weather on top of everything else you are going threw?
I hope you are feeling better. have a great time shopping, sounds like fun.
There\'s a Omaha steak place you can go too? i thought you can only order on line.
You\'ll get back on track. I have every confidence in you, Yvette. You\'re a strong woman!
You\'re doing terrific! Keep going, my Friend. The weight crap is always a bummer; I don\'t know about you, but me? I get so angry with myself about not losing all the time that I forget how satisfied and proud I feel when I lose...as I\'ve said before, we\'re really too tough on ourselves about that. If we could lose 1 to 5 years, then the weight would follow wouldn\'t it? In other words, it only gets more difficult to lose as we get older.....catch 22, and then throw in some illnesses, family stuffs, emotions, etc.; I wish I could plan to be healthy for 5 to 6 months in row...wow! Wouldn\'t that help with losing weight and feeling more motivated?!
Sorry I just saw this journal! Your shopping excursions are fantastic! I love kitchen stores the best! I just stopped by the store today and got the price of my next reward goal...a pastry/cookie scoop! It is only $10 but it will be a treasure to me.
Happy birthday on the 23rd!
