Got took for a walk today!
I decided to see how our dog behaved for me on a walk today! Not as bad as it is for my brother but still not good! I have to constantly tug her back to me so she wont drag me everywhere! And even though I have the strength to do it , it becomes painful to my hands! So maybe she will have to be walked with a choke chain like previous owners used! I am so tired now and she is still wanting me to play with her! Hope my brother will play with her tonight! Hope all my friends have a good weekend!

I have had large golden retrievers for many years and have never been able walk them on a leash of any kind,even a choke.
Last year I discovered the gentle leader HALTER, not he regular gentle leader that goes over the nose. As soon as I started to use it, the dogs were fine--it was amazing-- now I can walk both of them at once. They are available in pet stores or on line. Try it.
Dogs are like little children. Always needing some special attention. We have our little dog cookie we have had her for about 4 years. She love my grandsons.Take care and enjoy your new friend. Suzanne
yeah like molly said there is a head harness for the dog. I got one for my dog after talkign with someone in my development and it does so much for my dog now .. no pulling no sniffing if I don\'t want her to sniff .. now it\'s a nice walk we do. Try it cecile I\'m sure you won\'t be sorry!!
