Got a Scare
First, let me apologize for not being as active as I used to be. I've just finished my first week of job training and with the crazy hours, I've just not been in the mood to check here when I get off work. Going up and down the stairs three times a night to get to the classroom is killing me. My legs have started to rebel and I've gotten cramps. Hopefully, they will pass and my legs will be better for it. It's hard getting back to taking notes and I'm struggling. There is so much to learn. The next time you call a call center, be nice to them. There's a lot they have to do to help you. Be patient. Who knows, the next time you call one, you might talk to me. Oh, Horror! The car is, finally, out of the shop. The last time it was in, they kept it for 2 days. But, they were nice. They got me a rental car to use at their expense. Their expense, except for the insurance which I had to pay since I only have liability on my car. I picked it up Friday in time to get to work, but got a scare. My debit card was declined! Well, I knew I had enough money in my checking account to cover it. I'd taken $1,000 out of my savings to pay for it. So, I called the bank and they said I did have the money, but I'd reached my daily usage limit of $1,000. The money to refill the gas tank, the insurance payment, and the repair cost was too much. Luckily, I was allowed to write a check for it. But, that really scared me! The car now has it's state inspection and I'm legal to drive on the highways, roads, and streets of Texas.
