Gossamer Lights

My honey sure is nervous this morning. Contagiously so. He is preparing for his first harvest of the bee hives he began keeping this past April. Well, it is about time, Sweetie. Your queen awaits her spoonful of homegrown sweetener for her coffee.
From dawn to now, we sipped coffee on our patio while I listened to him navigate his research heavy and experience free list of if's and's butts and maybe's of determining which boards are ready for harvest and how to keep his bees from defending their honey stores to the death. Exciting stuff to this no-life wench! Home grown honey! Shake it straight into my cup Bee Man!
As he rambled, the sun shadow of our house shortened in time with the sun's march across the sky. As the shadow shortened, my eyes were drawn to the gentle shimmering of insect webs running between the trees to the ground behind him. 'Tis the gossamer season. All the web and cacoon producing insects of Nature are flirting on the edges of adulthood. Their artistry is everywhere.
As the beloved voice filled my ears, the taunting shimmer of gossamer slowly being exposed to sunlight intrigued my eyes.
Another lightmare hit. It was not incapacitating this time. It hit like a suggestion to disengage my gift of seeing nature's light in the presence of electric lights.
Hm-m-m...
Might be a tasty tidbit to chew while I am photo journaling my honey's first harvest.

absolute symphony of words.... i could be watching TV... beautiful... yet i still see clear and present self degradation...yes you are openly being self critical... some say its bad and self defeating... i say i dont know... could be a good thing... could mean balanced opinion?
