Goodbye 2010...
Well, had a lovely Christmas at my Mum and Dad's. We spent the day at my sister's home with her hubby and beautiful 2 month old Kirstie and adorable 2-and-a-half year old Ewan, Plus there was my dad's Aunt from Liverpool (she's 84) and my bro-in-law's parents. Three-bird roast. Melted in the mouth. The next day we all returned the favour. I didn't drink much wine at all, was good, but was naughty in the chocolate, pudding and cake department! After a little break at home to make sure the cats didn't think I had abandoned them, I went back to Mum and Dad's to go to a lovely concert called The Sound of Musicals in the Symphony Hall. I was moved to tears on a couple of occasions and there were 4 soloists who did all the songs, plus the London Symphony Orchestra. They involved the audience which was great. Went home the next day and stayed at a friends house for New Years Eve until Sunday, but was as sick as a dog! With flu! I was delirious, fever, and I spent virtually the whole time in bed! Now there is a nasty ulcer on the throat. I went to the Badger Clinic at the Hospital and was prescribed aspirin to gargle. I still feel a bit fluey and yesterday had a bright red face as if I had been in the sunbed!
Well I do wish 2011 gives you health, peace, happiness and whatever life throws at you, I hope you stand tall and stay strong and remember that I am here to give loads of you hugs and support you, Thank you all for your love and support. Love you all. Happy 2011.
