Good Weekend

When I came home from work friday and didn't find a letter from the rheumatolgist, I called the office.  The nurse was very helpful and said she would look in to why he hadn't gotten back to me. I don't know if they got my most current labs. She promised she would get back to me probably this week. So now I sit hear and think what if he decides not to do anything and not start me on plaquenil? My daughter and I went shopping on saturday and just from riding in the car and the sun through the windows my hands and arms are rashy as well as one side of my face. It is barely spring!! Then of course it itches and swells. Enough complaining. I had quite a relaxing day on saturday and today was nice as well. Tomorrow will be very busy at work as Mondays usually are.

Maybe you could tell him that you would really like to try it even if the labs aren\'t bad. It can\'t hurt to ask. Doctors should treat the symptoms and not the labs. Let him know about the rash and swelling after being in the sun. Then he will have notes for the chart and a justified reason for giving you the Plaquinal-does that make sense? I hope they call you soon. :) Cheryl

Plaquenil is really working for me. I am starting to feel a little human lately. I hope your rheumy gets back to you soon.
