Good Weekend!

Wow, this good weekend stuff is becoming a habit…nice! Anyway went out with the boys Friday night downtown (North Shore). Pat and Glenn picked on each other all night long! They both need to spend more time talking to girls and less time arguing with each other like two old ladies! I thought it was funny so that’s all that matters…HA!  Saturday planted corn and watched the Pens blow it….yep. Sunday installed a porch swing for T…it looks good but I have to move it back about a foot. Oh well! Next weekend our friends from FL will be here…that will be fun!  Other then the Pens game I haven’t been watching TV…the radio is much more interesting! The DJ’s talk about stupid stuff instead of focusing on every negative aspect of the world. Other then Family Guy and South Park everything is pretty lame. I should just cancel the stupid cable! HA!   I’m going to cut the grass today..fun! Waiting for my next work assignment now. Maybe the economy will turn positive in the next 12 months and I won’t be as concerned about the lack of work right now. Whatever right! I’ll bag groceries or something if need be! I just want to pay the bills and have enough left over for a few drinks every weekend…the stress of over-achievement took its toll. The pursuit of money/power comes at a high emotional cost. It’s about time I returned to a simplified life like when I was young playing heavy metal in a hair band! Time to revisit my roots!!
