Good to be home

My house was in such CHAOS when we left for vacation.  I have been cleaning, doing laundry, unpacking all day.  But damn, it feels good!  I am feeling better, it is sunny out, the house is looking better by the minute.  This is the best I have felt in a while, both physically and mentally.  It just feels SO good to be HOME!  Going away gives me such appreciation for coming home.  Kona is so happy to be home as well.  David cut the grass in the front yard today.  Paul was out for a while doing yard work.  THANK GOD!  Thank God for Spring!

The riding mower broke early last season and Paul and David have been using an electric push mower to cut the grass, which takes forever.  Paul finally took the mower to have it looked at.  Looks like it needs a new motor.  So we need to decide if we are going to get the older one fixed, which is not that old, get a new one, or just hire a service to cut the grass.

Eating is better today.  I am back on Fitday and just have to stick with it diligently, to get myself back on track.  I am determined and feeling positive today.  Back up to 151 lbs and not happy about it, but this could have been so much worse.  I know in a few weeks, how my body works, I can drop to 145 lbs in a snap.  The key will be to push through that and get below 140 lbs.  I am really going to try this time.  I had a bowl of cereal and some milk for breakfast, 3 cups of coffee with creamer and splenda.  Lunch was a barbeque chicken thigh and a bagel with cream cheese.  Going to focus on some fruit for a snack.  Later will figure out a nice healthy dinner.

Got my pedometer on and getting in lots of steps with cleaning and laundry.  Will "play" my Wii Walk It Out later for an hour and get in another 6000+ steps and will also be taking the dog for a walk later since it is so nice out.  Got new Skecher walking sneakers.  Going to do my 1 hr Zumba tomorrow at the Y.  My April goal is to walk 105 miles.  I did 70.53 in February and 94.5 miles in March.  I would like to get back to 144 lbs by May 1.  I think I can do it.  Then I can push forward.  (144 is my lowest weight yet.)
