good timing

I am glad that, although I cannot do anything to help my sons, that I have the programs to focus on to help other parents.
I am so excited about my "additional" program that I can hardly contain myself.  The "other" program consists of a Powerpoint that includes videos for the student leader(s) when we separate the parents and students close to the beginning of the program.  I didn't have one last year - just a simple guide because I had confidence that the leader I had last year could easily talk to the kids.  I don't have him this year.  Things have changed anyway so I think I would have given him this to work with anyway.  I am anxious to get feedback from the professionals, however.  I don't have a model to work with so I hope this is on the right track because I think this is exactly what the kids need. So we'll see.....
On the home front ~ T found another excuse for not getting a job ~ says he has a misdemeanor and therefore no one will hire him.  I told him that that isn't the case ~ especially since he isn't even trying ~ how would he know?  To sabotage himself further ~ he decided not to do the community hours either.  Whatever!
