Good news / not-so-good news

Good news: I've been doing well on Humira, and my sed rate has been normal for a while, so my rheumy said I could stop taking the methotrexate after the first of the year. (I had reduced down to 2 pills a week, and he said that's "practically a nontherapeutic dose" anyway.) Since I won't need my bloodwork done as often, I don't have to go back for three months instead of the usual two.
Not-so-good news: I've been having some knee pain lately, but the rheumy doesn't think it's the RA. Rather, it's probably OA that's been aggravated by the cooler weather and holiday shopping. We'll see if it gets better when the weather warms up this weekend -- temps may be getting into the 70s!

Glad to hear your good news. I hope you continue to do well on the Humira. Hopefully your knee will improve with warmer temperatures.
Happy Holidays!
