GOOD NEWS, BAD NEWS...
I SOLD MY HOUSE!!! After a 6 month deal falling through, less than a week on the market and a slew of showings, it sold 1 week later with a cash offer just a bit under asking.
After work, closing and a trip to my bank to deposit cashiers check.....on my way home I got hit and wounded my car. I had a total of 1 hrs good luck....and there came that black cloud again.
3 cars involved....no passengers hurt....just our vehicles. $250 deductible is a small price to pay. My car still runs ok, just has quite a few boo boos. (Bumpers are duct taped on. )
Got to spend some time with the kids. (Great niece and nephew) and do take my sister out here and there (dementia and itching to go for quick ventures...usually for a donut or ice cream fix)
A giant weight has been lifted with that house and things are looking up.

Great news for selling the house. Even though you get a bit less, it was worth it. Cars can be fixed. Good old duct tape. I use it too. hehehe. Hugs.

You will get that $250 deductible back. Someone hit you so it's not your fault but your insurance paid to get your car fixed so you wouldn't have to wait. Now, your insurance will go after the other guy's insurance for the full cost and reimburse you the $250 deductible you paid toward getting your car repaired. Follow me?

Bob... turns out I must have gone when the light turned... so technically I am responsible and my insurance will have to foot the bill. Thank God for insurance though...and that all are ok
