Good news

Yesterday I received a letter to say I've been accepted by the Clinic Of Dissociative Studies in London for my therapy

My doctor has to do the paperwork for it then I should be able to see a therapist for my Dissociative Identity Disorder

I'm not sure whether I could cope with losing some of the alters I'm close to so I'm going to ask the Clinic Of Dissociative Studies if it's a good idea to go through with the therapy or not but if I do I want them to be extremely careful to which alters they integrate as I couldn't cope without some it would be like losing your whole family (not just close family but your entire family) at once, and I think that would or could either cause me a breakdown or cause different types of alters. What I will basically ask is will they be trying to integrate all the alters (or just the ones that harm me physically and mentally)? How will they go about this? And could it cause more harmful alters as they are slowly integrating with my own way of dealing with things (I had 62 nasty alters and now I have 10) so is it worth the upheaval of possibly developing more alters to get rid of the 10 I want rid of (I have 46 (last count) nice alters but we are doing well at the moment

I haven't selfharmed in over 28 months and I haven't attempted suicide in even longer

I call that real progress (well for me it is anyway)

Also I haven't had any new alters in over a year (nice or nasty) so I'm more stable then I thought I woz

If the therapist thinks it's a good idea to go through with the therapy I will give it a go

Basically I just don't want to gobackwards when I think I'm doing so well

Oh and my psychiatrics with my persuasion is slowly reducing the medication I'm on (I personally don't think I need to be on venlaflaxine becoz I don't think it helps me with my condition but my previous Psychiatrist didn't believe in D.I.D so tried to dose me up to shut up the voice and alters needless to say it didn't work)

Thanks for reading please feel free to leave me a message
