Good MRI News!

Well, the long awaited MRI results from August have come back...Walter Reed tells me they're ok.  What they are still seeing is a nodule but it's remained constant so there's no need for a biopsy.  I'm thrilled with this news!  For one, well the thought of a biopsy is quite daunting in and of itself, but then to have to wait for those results would be a nightmare.  I will have to go back up there for another MRI but not until sometime next January.  Now...if only the husband type person would call so I can tell him the good news.  I'd suprise him with a nice homecooked dinner but I'm already doing that and it's no big suprise when I cook LOLOther than that news coming as a little piece of Heaven not much else is going on.  I had a wonderful birthday (although my husband got in his fair share of senior citizen jokes) and I don't even feel any older.  It was a blast trying to get my cat to help me blow out birthday candles (it was her birthday too and she didn't let me forget it for one second).  Now all I'm waiting for is news from disability.  I just know they are going to make me see one of thier doctors and to be honest, that really bothers me.  I have doctors....alot of them.  I don't need someone to look at my chart, look at me for the first time and decide how sick I am.  I think that's just ridiculous and annoying.  As if we don't have enough to deal with and then they make us see people we don't know and aren't comfortable with and they poke and prod you and you're really just a name on a chart...not a person.  But I won't let that ruin my happy mood today....nope, no way!!At least for today, and maybe even the rest of the week I'll be thankful that God is still helping me in my time of need and I know that I am truly blessed (I know this on a daily basis anyway, but right now I feel extra blessed).Take care all and God bless...
