GOOD MORNING .. ( NOT !! )

Hey Y'All ~ Had another TIA on Monday morning. Woke up to door bell going off. I had set my alarm for 9am . It was 9:20am hadn't heard the alarm 4 feet away.. Tried to sit up on bed - had to use hand rail. Just couldn't seem to wake up, was real groggy. Still the door bell went off again (Row, Row Row Yer Boat!) . I have a brass bed with finials and hung on to the finials to keep from falling down, I was SO dizzy ! Got to my bedroom door and had to bounce off the walls till I got to the living room. Door bell rang again! Then I heard my care giver's voice calling me! She was at the door! I hung on to the furniture and literally propelled myself through my entrance hall to the door. I said I was so glad to see her bec | was feelin goofy. She said let's sit you down & sat me in a living room chair. I said no good I gotta pee - Ritual : first thing in the morning - you know? So when she got me in the bath room she said she could really see in the light of day that my eyes " is all goofy .."  That is when she said "-oh no - you're goin ! " & pressed my button on my ( First Alert ) wrist alarm. Next thing you know I am in the ambulance off to the hospital. I don't remember much until I got in my room at the Neurological Critical Care Unit - that's the ICU for people who have aneurysms etc. Let me tell you - no telephones - no bath rooms but at least they had TVs in the rooms..though I barely watched mine I had it on for some noise. They said maybe i had a hole in my heart. (I thought - Wasn't that the name of a song at one time?) So They sent me off for a CAT Scan, A Carotid Artery MRI, and an Echo-Cardiagram with the ice cold goo ! And, of course, Dracula had to show up for my Bloood ! And 50 million people had to ask me my name, my birth date, what year and month it was, and did I know where I was at? 50 million x ! After ALL that they decided I had a major UTI (urinary tract infection) The doctor explained to me that any trauma to my body once you have had stroke symptoms can trigger a reaction in the body to simulate my former stroke symptoms. So in my case, in February of '09 when i had my major stroke I had been paralyzed on my right side for 8 hours & so Iwas mildly paralyzed again this time on Monday morning the reason I couldn't walk to the door..I sincerely could not even open my right eyelid that is when my care giver pressed my wrist button (looks like a flat wrist watch|) and called for the ambulance. Everybody here n the senior building always says," Why do YOU have a    caregiver -  You are not in the wheelchair anymore ?"( since I am walkin around now ) Well, now we know why, huh? Who knows what would have happened had I have been all alone - I might have fallen & hurt myself. That'd be all I'd need !
So I am home now but am limited on the computer for a couple of days bec the UTI makes me tired as well as the meds I am taken for it. ... I forgot to mention My daughter who won't take me anywhere without gas money actually came in to see me ! That was the most exciting thing that happened to me all day.. Didn't expect anyone since I had NO phone to call out & really didn't know any numbers as they are all in my phone index ! I hope Y'All's will be prayin for me and keep things goin till I get back . I will be readin though I won't be writin too much maybe here & there. Hope to be back on top by Sunday ... HUGS NDYPS: JUST FOUND OUT THAT EATING YOGURT OFTEN CAN BRING ON UTI''s - Go figgar.
