Good Monday

Today I bought the entry hall table that Mom gave the the money for. I got it at HL. It is very very cute.

It's still in my trunk. LoL. I won't get it out until Anna comes to help me. I am going to chalk paint the end table that is between our reclingers. I bought the plaster of paris and the Krylon satin finishing coat. I already have white paint that will mix w/ the plaster of paris. I am going to do that tomorrow. I took the glass top off and ModPodged burlap underneath ... on the bottom of it. The glass plate sets into the piece. I've had this piece for years and years. I can't mess it up. So, after the MP dries, it will look neat against the white. I am still throwing out stuff and getting rid of things that I do not use and no longer need. 

There are still plenty of projects to work on around here. I bought the paint for Anna to whitewash our red brick fireplace today. All I bought was a quart and if I need another, I can run down and get it. U mix it with water... roll it on and then wipe off ... then the red brick shows through. I watched vids on German Schmear and whitewashing. Whitewashing is WAY easier... so , that 's what I went for. and the look is not that different. 

I think I am going to sell the kitchen hutch. It is red, green and ugly. I'm tired of it. I've had it for 15 years and red just has to go. It's so angry. I thought about painting the whole thing, but I think I can sell it for $30 and just put my coffee bar in it's place in the kitchen. I want to open up the dinining area. ... and we had lots of cabinet space.

So... I need to post that on FB Marketplace.
