good memories
We went to see a documentary about the Camino de Santiago, the pilgrimage we did in Spain a couple of years ago. It brought back such good memories, and we got to see the beautiful scenery again. As I watched the film, the feelings came back, the meditative times walking alone and meeting and socializing with other pilgrims. It reinforced what a special time it really was. I believe Lisa was sitting with us this evening as she was with us in Spain.
I couldn't muster the energy to walk today. The weather was dull and rainy all day. When I saw the Camino, I felt the need to do another walk. Joe doesn't want to do Spain again - we have talked about doing a walk in England. We will have to wait until after India!

People are forever changed participating in these walks and it most certainly feels as if you have been.

The memories of the pilgrimages are very healing also. I have read a lot about the Camino de Santiago. It\'s one that I\'d like to go on. I still fondly remember my trip to Israel especially Old Jerusalem. We took this pilgrimage three years before Jared passed. I still believe that it helped us to stay strong in our faith.

I will never get to all the places you have gone to or will see, so I will see these places through your eyes. It is almost as fun, and I do have a good imagination LOL.

I can\'t walk too far any more... but I do love to travel. I always bring my family\'s pictures with me and I do feel Cara is with me, and I\'m glad that through me she\'s getting to go to these places.
