Good Dog

 I had someone pick me up from work early today so I could get my Spot dog to the vet. Looks like he has become a very good actor. Vet says it is a very mild ear infection, but he sure enjoyed the car ride. I didn't care for the bill. Took both dogs and of course they both needed their shots. Already canceled my reservations for the week-end. Oh well, don't feel like rescheduling again right now. Maybe it was best. The winds are really blowing strong across the desert making it a difficult drive. I was going to lay low on the dating thing, but what the hell. I have a date for Saturday afternoon, and another for a Sunday Champangne brunch with a ride up the coast line in a corvette??? Whatever, men and their toys. Did he say that to impress me??? Men are so funny sometimes. I guess some women are impressed with all the material objects a person has. I am impressed by whats inside the person. I will just have to make the following week-end all about me. Hell, I guess this week-end will be all about me as well. Both of these men have been begging me to go out for a couple weeks now. I am just so fucking picky when it comes to men. I've met only one in what seems like years that I totally enjoyed really being with, and it was so short lived. Feels like it was only a dream at this point. At least I know I can enjoy myself when I find the right person. right now friends would be the perfect situation to be find.
