Good Doctor!
I wanted to tell everyone that I have found this really good Ruematologist and he has diagnosed me with severe osteoarthritis and Fybromyalgia. he took a full line of xrays back in November before the holidays and I just now got back to him for the results and he also took a bunch of blood tests also. He says there is no sign of Lupus,but I have really bad Osteoarthritis all over and especially in my left knee which has been playing havoc on my life for awhile now to the point where I can't even walk in Walmarts to get my groceries. He took and xray of it and yesterday said it has allot of spurs in it and I may have to have a knee replacement. He gave me a shot in it yesterday of steroids to help the inflammation and said he would try that for awhile to see if it helps. He also signed a paper and filled it out to get a placard for my boyfriends truck to park in a Handicapped space where I won't have to walk so far to get inside the store,or wherever we go. I'm really thankful for this doctor because he seems really nice and he listens when Italk and most doctors I have been to don't.

Doesn\'t knowing what is wrong make you feel soooooo much better. You can shove the diagnosis in the other doctors faces that put you in the \'too hard\' basket.
The steroid injection sounds painful but I hope it gave you some relief.
Glad you found a doc with good bedside manners. It makes all the difference when you have chronic pain.

SO GLAD YOU FOUND A GOOD DR TO TREAT YOU. AND DIAGNOSE YOU. IAM THRILLED FOR YOU. BECAUSE BOTH OF THESE ARE VERY PAINFUL TO DEAL WITH ON A DAILY BASIS. I REALLY HOPE HE CONTINUES TO TREAT YOU AND HELP YOU.
