Good Doc Possible Relief

So my appointment went pretty well. The doc was really nice and spent about 30 minutes going over my symptoms and giving me his opinion. He does think its a nerve related issue due to my eczema. Even though the skin is not dry he feels the eczema over stimualted the nerves causing the pain. He gave me several sample creams to see which one works. Once we find something that works I can get like a gallon of it!
Of course the one he really wanted me to have had to be ordered but it should be at my pharmacy by tomorrow afternoon. I tried one of the other creams and it did seem to help but it's a much lower med dosage. I should have the new cream tomorrow and see how that works. He does feel it will get better in time but its hard to say how long. If I can just control the symptoms until it does decide to go away I can at least move forward with life!
All I can think about is this stupid pain. I can't even go to therapy because all I want to talk about is chronic pain which doesn't help me mentally. I just hope the meds helps enough just to get me through the day/night until maybe someday this crazyness ends.
He said that internal meds probably wouldn't help and that's why Prednisone actually seemed to make it worse. Unreal. Well, I guess we will see what happens. At least this doc doesn't act like I have some unknown illness and I'm patient zero! God I knew there had to be an answer now it's just a matter of finding the right meds. Baby steps....as always.
