Well what i copied over to save here, i lost.  hmmm.  and don't recall what it was anyway.  lol.  

odd day.  spent most of the rainy afternoon looking for the smaller dog.  verrrry strange.  got her back around 4:00.  haven't figured that one out, because the area where the dog supposedly was, i drove by several times and never saw it?  she generally doesn't leave the lawn or even the deck.  very scary actually, especially since there are other missing animals lately.  also saw a huge raccoon out in the afternoon over by the intracoastal and raccoons aren't supposed to be out during the day at all?  
saw rn and byn yesterday and dropped off cat food.  a pipe broke at her house and b spent the afternoon fixing it - he also painted the old rabbit hutch and put a new roof on it - it looks great.  made appointments for 3 for spay and neuter.  called p back to find out what is happening with m's housing.  m is also looking for another dog as a companion for the small one she has a malti-poo.  don't know if they allow that there.  no idea.  then p called freaking, needing the name of the guy that fixes washers - the one we got our washers from doesn't fix them anymore, nor follow his ad - he just sells re-habbed ones, that was a surprise and the one that does fix begins with an "ar" but i can't remember the rest of the name - she bought it ten years ago.  she says the dial is stripped and it won't turn from setting to setting.  not good.

i think p had a mini stroke or something because even without the heavy anxiety meds the doctor gave her when her daughter died over a year ago, she is still messing up her words when she is upset or trying to think too fast, she mixes them all up and can't think of the word itself at all.   wonder if they have therapy or exercises for that?   she was never like that ten years ago, or even five years ago.  i didn't even think of that until today.  isn't there a blood test that shows if you've had a stroke or heart attack?   i don't know if they can do anything, at least she would know why its happening.    

got the oil changed on the car finally.  overdue to be done, i should have done it last month, but i was sick all month.  i was running late but they did it anyway.  yay!   also got the new direct deposits for work through regular mail because nothing else was working.  so odd.  so need to give those out next.  even payroll wouldn't fax over at first.  such a weird day, if anything can go wrong it will kind of day and then you have to fix each thing and find solutions. 

bought girl scout cookies from the girl at time share - they call the 14 year olds ambassadors now, it used to be choices and if you go waaaaay back it was seniors.  they reallllly need inner city scouting leaders for boy and girl scouts, wish they could recruit more college students to do that, it changes lives, especially in very low income, inner city areas where there are no role models at all (wonder if rural areas has scouting at the public schools or churches for the kids?) - all people need something to go by and scouting covers everything - there's even college prep stuff in there, and discover modules.  inner city kids and rural kids won't have the money for dues, but they can fund raise and the leader can look for donations on her/his own for working on badges or getting uniforms, in place of dues - sponsor a boy/girl scout through various stores etc.
