After the horror...the horror...of my olde cat sick for so long, I'm feeling preety good, even enough to say to myself, "wow, i have a lot of money left", re the whole five dollars leftover from walmart shopping, which must last me the next 3 days.
7 to 10:02 walmart walk this morning; under $10 for bread, 2 cans chefboyardee, gum, and of course, catfood.
Friskies with new "rise and shine" catood, with "morning flavor for your breakfast craver"---no wonder dopes like me get too attached to their pets.
My 2 cats as only family, and, yes, I have no life off the internet, but today i'm happy enough.
I even had the carly simon lyrics of "these are the good olde days" in my head on the way home. Though, most of her millions were wiped out by investing with some Bernie Madoff type, if there's any cosmic message to that.

It\'s good you have change left after shopping. Every dollar counts. I save coins. Every penny counts. I am not in your situation I know but have been close years ago when I was a single parent on a very tight budget. Looking for coins in the sofa days.

Can you afford a whole chicken. It\'s a really economical meal. Lasts for days and you can get all kinds of meals out of it.

the only thing i got from 2 hours of trying to fix my bike were really greasy hands that i used lava soap on.
i think the walks are helping my mood, so i\'m kinda reluctant to stop them.
sunday\'s loaf of bread is already gone---i eat bread with just mustard, like a snack.
Save up for that roasted chicken if you can. Great to share with the kitties too and you can make great soup with the carcass when you have picked off the meat

I am definately one of those people who eat out of boredom, which is why i never have more than one skimpy meal\'s worth of food in my apt at a time.
thankfully, with lowlife idiots gone from flophouse nextdoor, with somebody from the place really outside 24 hours a day, i don\'t have to stock up food anymore, to avoid a gauntlet of lowlife loiterers.

I bet the pet food industry just loves folks like you and me who are constantly buying pet food! (hee hee) I was at Walmart yesterday for another bag of Purina Cat Chow and Friskies can.
Yes, it so frustrating to be limited in money, but we are not alone. We share that frustration with so many others. For most of us, I fear it is the new normal in America.
I eat very little; just a pop tart for breakfast along with a pinch of almonds for protein, and a cup of coffee.
The rest of the day I may break for peanut butter and crackers; sometimes I won\'t do that unless my blood sugar bottoms out or my belly doesn\'t remind me it wants food. I drink lots of water throughout the day; and try to fix a small, but decent meal for supper for me and Hubby. Were it not for him, I\'d probably just munch on the peanut butter & crackers again.

I personally think they ought to let old Bernie out; He just did what the big banks are doing every day, and what our government is doing with the social security fund. Social Security is a Ponzi Scheme too; the money that is paid in goes to fund those who are currently drawing, it isn\'t really there for individuals like people think. Social Security money is dumped into the general fund in the government\'s treasury, and the government has raided that fund continuously. With unemployment so high and so little being paid into the fund anymore because of so many not working, I doubt it will even be available for me when I retire. I have to have the generation behind me fund me; like I am funding the generation before me. That\'s how the Ponzi scheme works; and our government and big banks do it every day. That\'s why the government\'s \"think tanks\" keep touting that social security will be busted by 2020. They\'ll keep raising the retirement age, until we\'ll be near death before we can draw any of it. Or maybe they\'ll eliminate the program altogether; they\'ve sure been trying.

i would think one of the red flags for wall street investors would be to avoid somebody who has a stripper for a girlfriend. There are even photos of her in action on a nyc stripper pole!
