good and annoying news........
The doctor called today to tell me that he has some good but annoying news. The good is that it's not cancer. The annoying (I like the way he put it) is that I have to have surgery because I have some precancerous cells called atypia and they need to come out. It IS annoying but I can live with that. The plans I've had up in the air may be put on hold because I don't go for my consultation until August 5th. So - have stuff to think about. Note: I also thank my lucky stars that I won't need to join a new support group on here!

I am so glad you wont have to do that as well, my friend...soooo glad it is not cancer and so GOOD (even though really annoying as well) that they can catch this all so early. lots of ((((HUGS)))) and so pleased with the good news...xxx
Well, I\'ve been checking for your news, and am so relieved for you. Yes, annoying it needs surgery anyway, but you\'re right, so much better than the alternative.
I don\'t know why everything moves so slowly in the medical world. If I got a dx of even pre-cancer, I would want it out nOW! But this gives time to prepare mentally and emotionally, and I wish you well. I\'m happy for you.
