good and bad
I don't know if it's the hormones or what but I am miserable right now. I had such a happy day. I went to the doctors and got a proof of pregnancy and they gave me a little pink knit hat and I told my mom and she started crying in happiness right in the middle of walmart and said its the best news she's ever heard.
But noooow I have had a horrible headache since 4 and even though I swore to myself I wouldn't I took two tylenol after it became unbearable. I'm just moody from that and the hormones I guess. Plus my boyfriend didn't even respond when I sent him a text about our due date (7/7/2012) and told him I was 5 weeks pregnant for sure. He gets quiet whenever I mention anything about this and I know he's scared and he doesn't want to get attached but that doesn't mean it's fair to me to have to deal with this all alone, I'M SCARED TOO!
I'm just mad I guess because he got off work at 5:30 and then went to his brothers for like 2 hours and didn't even say he was off work or anything. I was waiting here for him to come home to start dinner and he was just off hanging out. I know that sounds ridiculous but we've had a lot of problems this year about him not ever spending time with me and now that I'm pregnant I wish I could say things will change and he will come home before 3am on friday nights or not spend hours and hours at his brothers after work all the time, but that is not going to happen.
I can't do this alone. It's not fair that that could even be an option. I feel like he's not even excited and he doesn't even want to talk about it. Shouldn't he have anything to say about this besides "good" and "I'm scared"?

I\'m so sorry you had a bad day yesterday. Congratulations on the baby though! It sounds like you and your boyfriend need to have a good talk about what you are each feeling. Tell him your needs, like that you want him to spend more time with you. Is he willing to see a counselor with you? I found that communication is key to a relationship and my husband and I have to work on it all the time but it keeps us on the same page. Hope things get better! Hug
Hey hunny, I am so sorry you are going through this. I completely agree with \'Missingmartin\', communication is key. I was sort of going through a similar thing with my husband. It took me awhile to figure it out, but it wasn\'t that he wasn\'t happy, or didn\'t care. When I opened up to him and asked that I needed him to open up to me, I found out that he was scared to tell me how scared he was because he felt like he needed to be the strong one. I had to explain to him that it hurts more when he shuts me out than when he opens up and lets me into what he\'s thinking and feeling.
I know its not easy, especially when we aren\'t excatly happy with our men, but be patient, be open and be very honest in a very respectful way. Hopefully he\'ll come around. Hugs!!
