Gone With the Wind

I do not even want to rehash anything about what happened seven years ago today to me.   I   believe this day should be declared a national day of mourning and reflection.  No shopping or memorial day sales.  Just a day to sit shivah, attend mass or any religious service.  We can never forget or take our liberties for granted.  I will go to church today and light a candle.

It sounds to me Ree that you may have lost someone near and dear to you? Although I personally didn\'t know anyone, I remember exactly what I was doing on that fateful day 7 years ago at the time the first plane hit the towers. This is a day that shook all our lives and made us cognisent that we lived with a false sense of sercurity. I agree this should be a solemn day for us all, giving a few moments of silence for all those that perished and othrs still alive that have had to suffer the loss of loved ones on 9-11. Also, I agree God Bless America, for her problems, we are blessed with freedoms worth fighting for. love you, marcia
