Going to take Kona for a nice walk!
Yesterday was good. Turned 47. I totally DREAD 50! And we won't even talk about after that! But I feel ok today. I bought myself a Spring green denim jacket (my favorite color) and blouse and capri denim jeans at Dress Barn a few weeks ago in Lancaster when I went shopping with stepmom Shirley and stepsister Lori. I let Paul and David give them to me for my birthday as well as a couple of new Brighton beads for my necklace and a new pair of sandals. Yay! I love to shop.
We went to Charcoal Pit for dinner. My favorite! Think of Arnolds Drive in in Happy Days! This place started in the 50's as a drive in diner/car hop and hasn't changed much. Hamburgers and fries are to die for and then hot fudge sundae for dessert! Yum. Came home and went for a family walk. me, David, Paul and Kona. Paul only lasted 1/2 way and turned around and went home. But David, Kona and I went up to the High School and back, just over 2 miles.
Thank God the sun was out for a while today. We had like 8 straight days of rain, then 1 day of sun, then rain again off and on the last few days. I cut my 10 mg Lexapro in 1/2 today for the first time. Hoping to not feel so so tired all of the time. OMG, 2pm and I feel like I have to take a nap. It has really affected my work and my productivity. I just keep yawning and can't focus, like I have been on antihistamines for weeks. I have a hard time getting up in the morning. I do feel better after a walk. So I am going to take Kona for a walk now. now I need to get back on track with good eating. I need to update my miles on here and also in the walking group. it has been a while.
Praying for all those affected by the tornadoes. Even with my job, the devastation is mind blowing.
Thinking of spending my birthday money on a new Kindle 3 and giving my Kindle 1 to David. he really wants it and if it helps him read more, would be a good thing. I am almost done (Chapter 28) with my Summer at Willow Lake book by Susan Wiggs. Will be the first book I finished (except the Passage by Justin Cronin) since my panic attacks started last year. Need to get back in the swing again. I love to read so much!
