Going back to our IVF journey !
Hi my dear IVF friends,
We have started our IVF after a long break and it was a big step to go back! I had an ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome ( OHSS ) a year & half back and lots of other things happened in our personal lives due to which we could not and were not ready to go back! Couple of months back , I left my high stress & very busy job , to give our dream a chance in our lives, it was a very tough decision but it was a choice of now or never as I did not want to regret later that I would have had a chance and I did not try!
Long story cut short .....my husband & I decided to go back few days back! Going back was a huge emotional roller coaster ride but I am very happy we went back. It felt surreal and as if I was on drugs as when we used to drive to the place, it felt like an adrenaline rush or like I was drugged!
We have frozen embryos while had to be frozen when I had the OHSS. I took the pregnly injection last week and end of this week if our embryos are good after they are defrosted them, we will have the chance to go for a implanting ( putting back of the embryos ). I am getting very excited and at the same time very anxious ! This afternoon I felt anxious, breathless and felt my tummy a bit swollen and felt my heart was beating very hard! I called the doc immediately and they said most of the symptoms were common to pregnly except for the restless feeling and the heart beating hard! will also check if I feel the same, i'll do the doc.
I was wondering if anyone else has had those symptoms and any advise on how to deal with it?

Congrats on embarking upon this journey again! Welcome to the club! ;)
When I took my trigger shot of Pregnyl, I didn\'t experience those symptoms. However, even though the injection itself didn\'t hurt, the next day I felt like someone had punched me repeatedly in the guy. My entire abdomen was VERY sore and felt bruised, but there were no ACTUAL bruises or redness near the injection site. The feeling went away after the retrieval 2 days later.

thanks :- ) not nice to hear about the pain in your guy ;-) ...i realized it was a typo ...
Its always a pain to take all of this but we are doing it for a nice cause , so all for a baby who we might be blessed with ! I feel better today , I couldn\'t sleep very well last night , I felt anxious.....tomorrow is the big day, we\'ll get news tomorrow morn if our embryos are ok after defrosting ....sounds all so mechanical....but the reality is thats how it is! thanks and have a nice day !

I have had our blastocyst( day 5 embryo ) implanted last week. That went well , so it\'s the waiting period . The last few days my sweetheart of a husband has been taking care of me & treating me like a queen! I m also trying not to think of the result but difficult not to ....
Anyway will continue to keep myself occupied , down with a damn cold & bad throat so that doesn\'t help either !
Hoping all goes well , trying to be positive ! Feel anxious sometimes .....

I\'m so sorry. :\'-( This process is so grueling and difficult. While I know the emotional wounds may not heal, I hope they aren\'t so tender over time.

Do you have any remaining frozen blasts or would you have to start the process over with a fresh cycle?
hi , thanks.....we have another one but we are just taking a break now. Haven\'t thought when we are going to re-start. Need to heal from this & just enjoy life without thinking of ivf....
