God's promise to me came true!

Many years ago, while I was having my quiet time with God, He told me to "make my tent bigger, because He will give me lots of children, even children that I did not give birth to." I did not understand this message, but often thought about it. I only have 3 children, and Colleen is deteriorating.

Then the unthinkable happened to me last week! My 2 older children's half brother, Chris, (their father's son from his second marriage), accepted me as his mother!! His mom died when he was very young. Chris is a wonderful child (young man), who truly loves the Lord. He and my 2 older children have always had a strong bond between them, and he became an automatic part of my family. But I never dreamed that he would accept me as his mother! Then, a few days later, his youngest half-sister, Leonie (his mom's child from a previous marriage), also accepted me as her mother! This just blew me over! She is such a lovely young woman, married and have 2 beautiful and talented sons. This wonderful blessing made me feel almost unworthy. I have experienced many of God's promisis come true in my life before, but nothing compared to this one!! This time I received blessings far beyond my wildest dreams! Wow! God is so great!

Over the years I\'ve learned to never question God\'s choices for us, good or bad, but rather accept them for HE knows what our future entails. You are indeed blessed. Through our messages, I know of Colleen\'s deteriating health and your concern of the near future. I beleive that through God\'s plan he has added two \"children\" to your motherhood as a blessing for all you have done for Colleen. As always, you are in my prayers. Hugs, Dan
