God help me!!!!
Can things get any worse? Last night I found out my oldest daughter who lives in Seattle has a 7 cm tumor that is cancer in her esophagus tube. She has no health care. I feel like I'm being punished with all that is going wrong in our lives. I just ask for prayers for us. My family is in turmoil right now with all that is going on health wise. I hate she is on the West coast and the rest of the family the East coast. Prayers for us please. Thank you. Hope you all are doing well. (((Hugs))) Linda

Dear Linda, My oldest daughter had colon cancer, and this was almost 15 years ago, she is now in remission. I also have a friend who had throat and tongue cancer, they had to scrap remove it, but she is still alive and doing well. Don\'t give up just yet. I will pray for her and you. By law they have to treat her, they can not refuse care. She can always make payment arrangements. I also have decided not to say, can things get any worse, because believe me, they can, and will if we let them. When Sean was with us we use to say, if we didn\'t have bad luck, we\'d have no luck at all, and so now, you will never hear me ever utter those words, or can things get any worse. I just feel that I have to remain calm, positive, and not feed into the negativity. I have alot of medical problems, and so I believe down into my soul, that we are only given so much, and for whatever reasons are given it. We may not like or know why it is us, but everything in this world, happens with or without us, we just happen to be blessed to continue on this journey and learn whatever lessons we must learn before we leave this earth... Hope I didn\'t say anything to hurt your feelings, and I am just trying to help. Just know I\'m praying for your daughter, and for your strength, so you don\'t get sick, stress plays a big role in the outcome of things sometimes. With love, and prayers sending your way, carla

Thank you both for your support. The Doctor said it inoperable because of its location. It has also spread. No treatment will help. She has 6 months to a year. My beautiful girl. My firstborn. The one who taught me what pure unconditional love is. How am I going to do this. I have to for her. Nothing is worse than seeing the one you love suffer. God help us.
I know between Fred Hutchinson, Virginia Mason, U of Washington, Swedish Tumor Institute (where I went) they have several like Cancer Care centers that have numerous from all of them working as a team. They also have at Swedish all these groups that help those going through this. The big C is always so terrible. I am so sorry for her and you. All of us on the East side of WA go to Seattle for a lot of our care - they have the best caring drs. there. Dr Henry Kaplan I owe him my life.
