Goal Update

3/10/08.  I walked one mile two days in a row, 3/8 and 3/9, had to stop for a few days because was having a hard time breathing, hopefully back on track.  I'm going back into my work week and don't know when I will be able to fit walking in.  I work 4, 11 hours days, then add on getting ready for work and the transit time, it is a full day.  I have to take advantage of walking when I can breathe the best during the day and that doesn't always correspond with my work.  I have a path worked out in my office but get 5-10 undisturbed minutes is sometimes impossible.  We'll see.

2000 steps is a mile or 1000 paces. A pace is counting only when your left foot hits the ground,so every two steps counts as one pace. I learned this searching the web. The article I read said this is how they came up a way to measure distance a long long long time ago. Have no idea where it was I read it.
