Goal Updates

Panic attack yesterday, panic attack today.  Back to square one.  Can't seem to get through more than one day without one.  My 3 day w/o panic attacks goal is back to 0%.
As for my not cutting goal, doing okay with that.  Still strongly tempted.  Starting to turn to other forms of SI, so I need to stop that, too. 
Conquet Anxiety goal is pretty much just continuing in therapy and getting through the 12 week support group I'm in.  So, I'm doing that all right.

I\'m hoping the support group is also a class where you learn how to \"concentrate yourself\" out of a panic attack? There is a standard curriculum for thisthat many counseling centers offer, created by a psych team up in the northeast.
also, you need to talk to your psychiatrist about upping your anti-depressant meds. Yours are not working if you are still having panic attacks.

yeah, meds def. aren\'t working. Next appt is on the 15th. I\'m not on an antidepressant atm, just anti-anxiety.

I\'ve learned a lot about coping with panic attacks, and getting out of them. I know to breathe, I know to focus on something else, blah blah blah. But sometimes I\'m just so tired, I can\'t fight \'em anymore, and let it take over. When i\'m rested I\'m less likely to have an attack. Unfortunately, rested for me means having been awake for less than 6 hours!
