Goal et al update
Half way to goal weight. Very slow but system I am following has a cycle of one week very strict, three weeks medium and then a minimum of two weeks, preferably more of normal, but hopefully well behaved eating.
Just a week into my second round of this which conveniently coincided with birthday. Not a glamorous dinner night as three barbershop "singouts" throughout the day so wine, fish and chips - yes from the package picnicking in the lounge and chocolate icecream - well a special bar we have here with boysenberries and vanilla icecream covered in chocolate on a stic ("kapiti" for any kiwis reading....). Who said people on diets get obsessive about food. (and if this is "well behaved" what is left for the alternative??!!)
Ducks still with us. On dark now and they have just taken off. They hop back into the pool and start moving as a pair up and down, their heads moving back and forth in a rhythm which reminds me of a snake being charmed out of its basket. Up and down and then suddenly, absolutely together they take off.
Son seems ok - simply not referring to his issues. This may be because it was nothing and now "past history" or he doesnt want to worry me or he hasnt had an appointment....Daughter has clear lungs on first test but awaiting more. Interrupted with wisdom teeth op from which she currently recuperating. Only took a mere year to get the surgery. I offered to pay and go private but I think she wanted to put the scary moment off!
Hope my DS friends ok. Hi to any of you reading this. Writing up this diet in here is really keeping me in line. Dropped a clothes size and would otherwise rest on laurels and consume too many of those Kapiti icecreams....

Hi Camba,
Glad to hear things are going well with your diet. It sounds like an interesting plan. Are you doing this on your own? Or through a Dr. or support group? I have found through the years my best dieting is a total change in food attitude. I eat a ton of veggies. My biggest downfall can be sweets especially chocolate once I get started I can\'t seem to stop. I\'ll crave sugary stuff all day. So what I have found works for me is I won\'t eat anything sweet until after my evening meal then there is no time for me to eat too much sugar because it\'s bed time with in a few hours! LOL I don\'t know if it would work for anyone else but it does for me!
I love the fact that the ducks have taken up residence in your pool. It\'s like having pets you don\'t have to care for. Except do they mess it up or not want to let the humans use it? I know geese are very territorial not so sure about ducks.
Glad your kids appear to be doing better.
Keep up the good work and Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Hugs,
Jan
