Glass half full

Injection only helped shoulder temporarily.  Giving me grief again - wakes me up so sleep loss  but so glad not a leg. This time last week had two days where I couldnt walk and remembered how life disrupting that is but beast took off again.
Just had youngest daughter here for weekend - she is with others on one of these travelling light concert tours.  Their theme is Irish.  Called "Operatunity" maybe because they always include a couple of young opera singers in each tour.  Pretty full - about 500  which is good for this town. Going all over the country.
Son in UK rang a couple of weeks ago to let me know he is not brain damaged after coming off his bike and breaking left wrist and right arm...He was NOT wearing the expensive helmet we bought him last year.... (No brains to damage maybe...).  Has to be off work until healed because he is a social worker and his clients not to be trusted sadly.
So glass is really more than half full despite the shoulder pain.  I volunteer with SPCA and head over there this afternoon. Love it - last week no cats in adoption. There are thoughtless people abandoning animals but always good ones coming along to give them another chance.
Big bush fires in Aussie revved up our sunset a couple of days ago.  Will post photos. Every cloud has a glorious lining...
The glass half full reminds me of the story about the therapist who placed the glass in front of the client and asked if they were an optimist or pessimist. The client picked up the glass and drank it and say "Neither, I am a problem solver.."
Guess that's how we have to face our Common  Enemy...

Rotator cuff consumption by The Enemy Within... Havent had any accident to it apart from usual wear and tear such a decorating etc being right handed....
Just very painful unless keep it still and then it starts to hurt after a while with the effort of holding it still. Sigh.
