Giving. To Others.

If we are going to celebrate Christ's birthday, how about taking your money and doing something for the homeless, the widow, the orphans... those the world considers LEAST. If you are going to use your credit card to give someone something... use it to be a blessing to someone who really needs help. Someone who needs food on the table, needs a light bill paid, needs clothes on their backs, needs medicine for an illness. We really should be doing that every day of the year... but if we are going to spend this season giving... how about GIVING to the least of these. It may not make merchants rich... but it sure will bring joy to your life and the life of those you are giving too. In fact, you are the vessel that GOD can use to meet the need of someone you don't even know. And watch their faces light up.You want Joy... GIVE to someone you do not know. Jesus taught us to SERVE... and what better way to honor HIM by serving others with your time OR your resources. Not only will you bless others... you will instill the right kind of tradition that will be passed on to future generations.
