My name is Christy, and I am an alcoholic. And I pray God will free me from the chains of this addiction. It's been only one day since my last drink. I want to take my life back. Thank you, God, for the caring peopow who told me that I am a drunk, who took me out of denial. Forever grateful. Today is day two. I'm hopeful and excited. And sad that there is one friend I need to say goodbye to.

I felt amazing today! No headache, hangover, no dry mouth and need to chug water. Enjoyed my coffee and morning, and talked to a friend who is an alcoholic and lives in my neighborhood. Feeling like \"I\'ve got this\". At my daughters gymnastics right now and it\'s actually freeing to not be counting down minutes til dinner and my first glass of wine.
