Gifts I Should be Wrapping
I have been wrapping gifts all week and I finally finished yesterday. For some reason I keep thinking that I still have more to wrap and even found myself looking at wrapping paper at the store today. I came home and was happy to see that something I ordered online came in today. I opened it immediately and wrapped it right away. I want more stuff to wrap!!! Then it hit me, I feel like my wrapping is not yet complete because I am not complete. I want to wrap girly toys and girly things for Michaela. I long to hold her and buy her one of the red, sparkly Christmas dresses I see at the stores. I want to buy dolls and pink clothes for my daughter who would be 2 years and 4 months old this Christmas. I want to see her admire our Christmas tree and ornaments like my 18 month old son does, saying "wow" and asking "what's this?" because everything he sees is new to him (last year he was too young to even know there was a Christmas tree in the house). I want to see her reaction when she sees how cheerful and bright the ourside of our house looks with all the lights and decorations her daddy arranged. I miss her so much right now. My only solace is to imagine her in a red sparkly dress, happy as can be, admiring Christmas among all the other angel babies in God's grace.
Dear Michaela,
Mommy misses and loves you so much. You can't imagine how much I wish you were here, but please know that I am at peace with God's choice for you and I know you are in the best place imaginable. You are mommy' precious angel and the one person that made me who I am today. Your brothers, daddy, and mommy love you always and you are always in our hearts.
You have my eternal love always,
Mommy

Hey Amanda, Christmas is always a difficult time, no empty chairs at the table, but the feeling that there is a space that noone mentions... I do hope that you can enjoy a lovely Christmas day with your boys and that God may give you a glimpse of your beautiful girl in her red dress... I had a glimpse of Jayne a few weeks ago and just knew she was happy and fulfilled where she is, but wishing I had a window through which to watch her whenever I want, (maybe I don\'t have that coz it would send me mad!!!) Michaela hasn\'t just made you who you are, but she has affected many more through you... sending love and hugs for you,
Ruth
Perfectly stated Ruth... All of our little ones are together in Heaven watching us with pride and peace.
This is not an easy walk at all.
Hugs, Love & Rainbows!
