GI Doctor's appointment November 17th
My GI doctor appointment isn't until November 17th. His office did say they would call me when they get the MRI results. The receptionist can't give out the results but she said that the doctor may be able to call me. I just really want to l know cancer stage. I know that he won't be able to get into too much over the phone but I'd still like to know. I've been having a lot of pain and bowel spasms today. I can eat but always regret it because it makes the pain worse. It's so hard waiting!

Doctor\'s office called and said according to the MRI it looks like stage 1 but that he won\'t really know for sure until after surgery. He said if it is stage 1 then no chemotherapy or radiation would be required. I would be in the hospital for 4 or 5 days after surgery.
HEY-that doesn\'t sound too bad huh! Just think of how you can get spoiled in the hospital and the mischief you can get into!
