GETTING THROUGH

I made it past Chistmas with lots of tears...  My late sons girlfriend was not dealing at all.  She has let her ex husband back in her life because of her daughter, Katelyn.  He has a hard time coping w/ Katelyns needs. She keeps saying Daddy Mike would do it this way, she is 4yrs old.  He attacted Tara and the kids, she did not call police because she did not want him back in jail (or be responible for putting him back in jail)  She made a choice yesterday to let him back into her life and the lifes of Katelyn & Michael JR.  I dont know how to re-act to this.....  Tara is bitter because Mike died and upset about being alone.  I dont think this is healthy nor do I know how to talk to her without forcing her into more anger.  My daughter said what was on her mind to her, She has been in an abusive relationship but finally saw the light is out.  I dont know if Alyssa would be better at talking to her because of her expiriances or worse.  Alyssa is a stronger person at times than I.
