Getting the Girl Therapy and Psychiatrist help

6 years I have been getting "treatment" for the girl She is almost 15 now, and we have moved, so all the providers have to be acquired all over again - and all the explanations, theories, etc., have to be give.
She is affected by the move more than she knows - she is in a different house, different neighborhood, different school with different kids and teachers. She just started high school. The stress is getting to her - I can see it.
But things were going pretty well, despite the financial disaster and all. Even despite the fights with my brother, which were fairly intense. I tried to keep that down, as much as possible, around her because I didn't want to upset her, but it was there, all the same.
But all the work that I have done over the last 6 years - which has not been insubstantial, is unraveling. Her new therapist knew her before, when she was in foster care.
Taking her to the psychiatrist that I took her to was a huge mistake. The woman diagnosed her in about 20 minutes - not something that I can take seriously - and did not look at any of her medical records or history, which includes several professional evaluations I have had done which show that the girl has a mood disorder with PTSD, OCD, possible ADHD (which has been disputed) and a few other things, but the "diagnosis" that this woman tried to give her, "Reactive Attachment Disorder" was discredited and dismissed after the first time I heard it and got a second opinion - from a reputable Pshchologist who performed standardized testing, not a therapist who wanted to populate her intensive therapy program.
I discussed this with the therapist today, and she wanted to discuss it with the idiot woman, and I refused her permission. I do not want that woman, with her snap judgement, disrespectful attitude and steamroller tactics to have any contact with my daughter or any input into her treatment.
You can't work with me, you can't work with my kid.

Just read your next post, but I think you are correct. Money is tight and lots of psyc people are not professional. You may be living in an area that has sparse \"good\" doctors. Mental health care included!
