getting started
Today i started back at getting ready to run again. Yes i am 61 but that is just a number to me. I will take it easy--today, i did a fast walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes. How does that sound clutter?? I also am trying to take sugar out of my diet and white bread. I want to get off the prozac, so i am trying to see if any of these things will help. I am still taking the meds. 20 mg. a day---any comments from you all. My husband says nooooooo way. He remembers what it was like. But i think maybe i could do without it now. You see my husband is the one that had a hand in all my ocd--that is what the therapist said. He was always telling that what i was eating was going to make me sick. I mean always!! Especailly chicken-and if it was cooked outside-that for sure would make me sick. Crazy huh--i have got him to stop that--maybe he has ocd!!! ha

I went to my grandsons bithday party last night. I can\'t believe that he is 18!!!!! He has so many plans for life-----I love it. H e is the sweetest young man and has always been very respectful of his grandparents.I wonder how time could have gone so fast, it seems like i turned around and he was 18. It makes me think i better get busy and enjoy every minute of life i have yet to live.
Indeed, maybe your husband does have ocd. Geeez! My husband is a hypochondriac. I have to take away all medical manuals and he is forbidden to go on WebMD. When he was eight, he told his parents he had congestive heart failure. His father was a Dr. and began hiding his medical journals. HA!
Congrats on the exercise program!!!!! I\'m so impressed with you. And you are NEVER too old. What a crock this whole aging business is. I don\'t like it, but I\'ll be derned if I\'m going to yield. Thanks for reading my weird insane story. Could you tell I was feeling a tad depressed? I usually don\'t know how I feel until I start writing. It\'s so strange. Take care and have a wonderful day!
