getting somewhere?
Had a doc appt on Friday. Told him what the MS specialist told me. Asked him about the myoclonus. He said he isn't sure why the doc said she had never seen it before, but maybe I misunderstood her.
Asked doc to do MRI of my spine as my legs are always affected by whatever ailment I have. He agreed that it would be beneficial to look at the lumbar spine. Waiting for it to be scheduled.
I asked him if anyone had ever done a test for Lyme disease. The answer was a resounding "NO". He ordered the bloodwork for Lyme.
Got a script for a cane and paperwork to get a handicapped placard for my vehicle.
While I am glad that I am getting some of the testing done that I want, I feel it is really crazy that I have to think of them. I research the internet to find what is going on with me. My doc and all the specialists have gone to college for this. They should be able to think of something....just my opinion. I only have a bachelor's in English. I am not an idiot but I am not in any way trained and learned in the medical profession.
