getting out of bed (p and p)

I want to keep some of these journal entries with pen and paper. Before the internet was a wide-spread thing, I kept a journal on spiral bound notebooks. I haven't been journaling much these past few years, but I'm entering a new [hase of growth and I want to keep track of it.

Here's a little tidbit that has me excited:

"normal" life progression - y=x where x=time and y=the usual experiences, reaching adulthood, getting married, having a family, advancing a career, etc. A factor of k can denote higher intelligence, better life conditions, better attitude in general

quadratic life progression - y = x2 - Some folks are born with certain aptitudes that are outside the norm. They have innate talents that allow them to excel much faster than their peers.

exponential life progression. - this one is mine. Because I declare it so. y = bx In this case, b is effort. Once I realized that I wasn't putting any effort into my recovery (1/b), it then becomes a matter of doing everything in my power to "do the next right thing." b symbolizes my desire, motivation, effort to experience the life I chose to live. If life presents me with a challenge, b is my response based on principles of the program; acceptance and courage in particular.

Right now I am struggling with getting out of bed after sleeping (I work midnights, so saying "in the morning" is relative). By b, I will get out of bed tomorrow (later today). And it will no longer be an issue.
