Getting organized
I'll admit, I haven't always been the tidiest of people. I can recall a time in my teenage years that one couldn't find a spot on the floor of my room not littered with random papers and piles of clothing. Although that was decades ago, the thought of it still brings back feelings of emotional turmoil and brain clutter. Fast forward 40 years and I'm married to the most disorganized mess of a man I could ever imagine. He's classic BPD (undiagnosed). He ignores the chaos that I cannot. He creates the chaos and seems to lack an understanding of how deeply it affects my psyche. Clutter makes me crazy! He's a pack rat. I'm a minimalist. He saves everything for the some day it might come in handy, but doesn't organize them so he never can find them when needed any way. I save some things, but they are organized and easily found.I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, IBS, degenerative disc disease and osteo-arthritis. Weee!! So my once energetic, hard working self is a mess.
