Getting it back
So I am getting back on track. I am finding that it is of the absoloute necessity to log in to my www.fitday.com and be honest. When I have to own up to those calories and carbs I am a lot more careful about what goes in my mouth. I now realize that I am a person who likes to say what the heck I'll just have this bit or that bite. Grazing my way through the day as opposed to addressing my hunger in a constructive way. I am always cutting myself enough slack to eventually be hung.
It is also safe to say that the more I eat the more accustomed I am to eating that much. After surgery your tummy is like a newborn baby, you have the chance to start over and not let it get to the point where it can hold 6 cups of food. Wow I still can't believe that statistic. I know this all sounds like common sense but the devil is in the doing not the knowing.
I could stop the weightloss now and be OK with it but ny "gut" is telling me not to stop. So far I have been coasting on this surgery. My surgeon gave me my first hundred pounds and now the real commitment begins. It all up to me. I have had an opportunity of a lifetime in this surgery. I have been quickened at 51 one last time. So unless medical science comes up with some kind of lobotomy to knock out the hunger center in the brain. this is it. Funny... I always used to joke that I would die a skinny old lady. I couldn't be thin when I was young and beautiful, oh no hahahahahahaha! In any case I'll take it where I can get it and be glad I got it.
