Getting expired domains for PR, does it still work?

Ive done some tests in the last couple of months about expiring domains with PR to see if it is worth your while to catch these expired and removed domains.

My idea why I would like to use expired domains is the notion that old domains are chosen than new domains, and to get immediate PR.

So I attempted to find deleted domains with PR that I can enroll. One characteristic of areas I was trying to find was that the domain still had a, and it was still shown in google.

I will not be mentioning the particular domains here as I need to handle the outcomes and prevent people from making backlinks to these domains.

I registered about 4 domains, some have PR2 and PR3. Some have a few pages indexed, some have a few thousand. I also ordered several new areas for my new jobs.

I found out that google seldom trips these domains so I need to perfect it but with some fresh backlinks. After making some backlinks to these domains, two their PR was eventually lost by domains. These two domains have only a few pages indexed in google. In case people wish to discover more about linklicious, we recommend heaps of libraries people might consider pursuing. In one domain, I did so a 301 permanent redirect to the newest index page. To check up more, please consider looking at: company website. This website retained its PR. One crucial huge difference this domain has set alongside the other two is that this domain has thousands of pages listed in google.

In yet another domain, used to do a 301 and direct it to a brand new domain. The result is that the new domain got indexed more and faster pages were indexed in comparison to another new domain I listed at the same time frame. But, PR was down seriously to 0.

There's also a case where used to do a 301 redirect from a classic deleted domain with PR and never got any benefit from it.

In summary, there is still conflicting effects on whether buying deleted/expired domains. Some works, some dont. However, what appear to work is that

a. Traffic does be contained by old delete domains from existing backlinks. It still does generate some traffic, if the old area has tons of backlinks.

T. Other se's such as for instance yahoo and bing do not seem to have an biases against expired/deleted domains..
